Best Customer Service EVER (or something)

This is a story about the best customer service EVER! (or something).

This past Tuesday, ShugarGroom and I went to MensWarehouse to  confirm the Tux decision and set it up in their system.

Since we have groomsmen in Texas, North Carolina and New York, we thought it would be best to go with a national chain on this one.

While we were there I found a tie I thought would match the Bridesmaids dresses perfectly.  Of course, the one time I didn't bring my HUGE Wedding Binder with me, so I didn’t have a swatch of fabric to compare it to.

Luckily, however, I remembered that we were approx a 1 minute drive from Davids.  So, after calling to confirm their hours of openness, we purchased one of the teal-ish ties and headed to Davids.

When I walked in the door I recognized the store manager at the register.  She and another David's employee smiled at us and asked if we needed any help. I politely told them no, we were just going to try to match this tie to a bridesmaids dress color.

The store manager said "Good Luck." with a little smirk.

After realizing I could not find ANY dresses in Juniper, I approached the counter.

"I'm sorry-  do you guys not have any Juniper dresses out on the floor?"

The sales manager chuckled a little.
"Oh, no. Juniper has been discontinued. Actually, I remember you. I recognized you when you came in.  You have Juniper Dresses, right?"

STUNNED FACES ALL AROUND by ShugarBride and ShugarGroom, who at this point in time had grabbed my hand and squeezed.

"Oh- Kay."

Other sales woman: There may be a dress on clearance.
ShugarBride: Okay. we can check.

After a 20 minute search, one call to MOH-Danielle, and three other saleswomen getting involved, Davids Bridal finally located the ONE Juniper Dress they had in the store.  (behind the counter for some reason?)

A PERFECT MATCH. Tie + Dress = Made for one another. (only not literally- because even though Davids & MW work together to create matching pieces, this tie was not one of these pieces…hmmmm)  So perfect that ShugarMom saved the day and ordered the ties from MensWarehouse during a tiesale yesterday :) WOOT WOOT! Ten Points ShugarMom!!!

A.NY.WAY.
The dress debocle of 2009 carried on Wednesday with a nice, calm discussion with MOH-K about her lack of Dress and a paniced call to Davids.  I'm assuming everything has been taken care of, however.  And I am calm.

Actually, I remained farely calm throughout the entire process.  Because, truth be told, even if MOH-K ends up with a BRIGHT PURPLE dress. I will be A-Okay. Because I am Marrying the LOVE.OF.MY.LIFE. and I have never been more excited for anything in the world.

Everytime I think about it lately, I am a box of giggly giddiness.  It's really gotten a bit out of hand.

WOO HOO!

On one hand, I'm glad you found it and it matches. On the other, seriously? Heads, out of bottoms, now please! :)
