thank you, Jesus.

A few weeks ago while in worship on a Sunday morning, I wrote myself this note on a 4x6 blue index card:

Dear Heather….
You are enough.
STOP apologizing for who you are.
You are strong enough to fight for both of you.
Spend more time with me.
Fast. and seek. both are necessary.
You need to get back in the business of encouragement.
Remember where I've brought you from and where I've taken you.
Allow YOURSELF to be encouraged by me.
Don't give up.
I love you more than he ever will.  And that is beyond okay.

I had it at my desk for a while, and somehow it got put behind a stack of postcards I have. 
I was just sitting here, feeling a thousand different emotions, when I saw a little pastel blue peaking out behind a Dallas postcard.

I grabbed it.  And felt a little bit more peace.

And that is beyond okay.

So as you know, I am in Denton for general bridesmaid merriment. (full recaps to come later.)

but i just had to let you know this.

last night we had a MOH photoshoot with my FAVORITE BLOGGER, Jenna Cole (of WeddingBee, That Wife, and EAD fame!) who started pursuing photography this past spring. AND IT WAS AWESOME. Just a few hours after we left her, she had a few "teaser shots" up on facebook for us. Instant Gratification, much?

I HIGHLY recommend using her for ANYTHING you want photographed: parties, weddings, engagement/anniversary/couple, family, bridals, lifestyle, portraits, children: ANYTHING.

SHE IS FABULOUS and SO MUCH FUN.

Boarded plane. On my way to NC for a VERY quick change of planes...shall be seeing my mother in about six hours (too long)

At airport waiting to board (45min) have forgotten nalgene. Boo. Love lots of albany airport upgrades. Hooray!
